Aurora Marquez, CFE is the Founder and Principal of Marquez Forensic Advisors, where she provides forensic accounting, economic damages, and litigation support services. With over a decade of experience, Aurora works alongside attorneys, businesses, and individuals to investigate financial issues, quantify damages, and deliver clear, credible, and defensible analyses.

Throughout her career, Aurora has worked on matters involving fraud and embezzlement investigations, asset tracing, partnership and shareholder disputes, business litigation, wage and hour claims, marital dissolutions, wrongful termination, personal injury, and economic damages. She has extensive experience evaluating financial records, tracing the flow of funds, managing large datasets, and preparing expert reports and trial exhibits that help clients navigate high-stakes disputes with confidence.

Prior to founding Marquez Forensic Advisors, Aurora provided forensic accounting and litigation support services at nationally recognized accounting and consulting firms, assisting attorneys and clients across a broad range of industries. Today, she combines the technical expertise and analytical rigor of a large consulting firm with the responsiveness and personalized service of a boutique practice.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Aurora assists with matters involving Spanish-speaking clients, foreign-language financial records, multiple currencies, and cross-border financial investigations. Her bilingual capabilities help bridge communication gaps and provide valuable insight in matters with international components.

Beyond her client work, Aurora is committed to serving both her profession and her community. She serves as Treasurer of the Orange County Women's Lawyers Foundation, is an Associate Board Member of Project Youth OC, mentors students through California State University, Long Beach's Student Center for Professional Development, and is an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and Orange County Women Lawyers Association.

Known for her attention to detail, integrity, and practical approach, Aurora is dedicated to transforming complex financial information into clear, understandable analyses that help clients, attorneys, and the court make informed decisions. Whether supporting a matter through settlement, mediation, deposition, or trial, her goal is to provide financial clarity clients need to move forward with confidence.
